It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year...
Hi all!
I hope everyone had a good Halloween. I know we still have Thanksgiving to get through but to me this begins the Christmas season. Get ready for Christmas music and all the fun decorations and everything that goes along with Christmas! I will be posting periodically videos, gifs, and fun posts about the Christmas season.

Stranger Things
Hello all!
I'm a little late to the game but seeing as though my blog is new I thought I'd chat about one of the biggest shows on Netflix right now...Stranger Things. Much like the rest of the world, I binge watched Stranger Things and absolutely fell in love! I was not alive for the 80s (sorry!) but I still got the nostalgia and references.
For those hard core Jonathan fans, I'm sorry I love Steve. I found the character of Steve Harrington very appealing. Even though he seems like an asshole in the beginning, he redeems himself and changes for the better.
I think Wynona Ryder played Joyce Byers perfectly. Her character is so unique and passionate. She's an emotional reck the entire series but never gives up even when everybody in town thinks she's crazy. She's just a mom on a mission.
My favorite character is of course Dustin. Who doesn't love him? Dustin provides comedic relief during some of the more intense or serious scenes and is a true gem. He is so lovable and adorable he might just steal the show.
Eleven is of course a badass. Millie Bobby Brown is a little genius. She is an amazing actress and will certainly have a great career. All of the kids in this show are super talented and will be very successful actors.
If you haven't seen Stranger Things yet, go to Netflix and watch it immediately. You don't know what you're missing! I'll leave you with an adorable Dustin gif to end this post. Enjoy!

10 Must-Watch Halloween Movies
As you might be able to tell, I love Halloween. Autumn is my favorite season and I love everything that comes along with it. Here is a list of 10 must-see Halloween movies:
10. Young Frankenstein
The late Gene Wilder is superb in this 1974 monster film. The movie follows the life of young Frederick Frankenstein as he recreates his grandfather's experiments. This black and white film is a great Halloween watch.
via GIPHY
9. Monsters Inc.
While this is not necessarily a Halloween movie, monsters are definitely appropriate for this time of year. Billy Crystal and John Goodman are fantastic in this film. Monsters are thought of as scary but these two make you want them as friends. A kids classic perfect for any time of the year.

8. Pet Seminary
This Stephen King novel turned film is sure to make you jump out of your seat. Even though it is older, the scare factor remains in tact. I would expect nothing less from the horror king himself.
via GIPHY
7. Poltergeist
A Stephen Spielberg film designed to make you want to move. When the Freeling family is disturbed by moving furniture and strange occurrences they are forced to call in the help of a paranormal expert to help return their youngest daughter from another realm. This film is one for the books and great to watch during Halloween.

6. Beetlejuice
Young Alec Baldwin is almost irresistible in this creepy 1988 film. After Barbara and Adam, a young married couple, die in a car accident they return to their home unaware that they are dead. Once they discover their immortality the couple is determined to scare the new owners of their home all the way back to the city. This film is certainly a Halloween staple. And remember don't say, "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice..."
via GIPHY
5. Halloweentown
A Disney Halloween masterpiece that makes every kids, teenager, and adult wish they were a witch. Halloweentown is a blend of fun, magic, and of course mischief. Although it may not be a cinematic masterpiece, it is still a wonderful film for this season of spooks.

4. The Nightmare Before Christmas
Is it a Halloween or Christmas movie? The answer: both. This dark musical is one for all ages. Tim Burton has once again mastered the creepy kids film that no one can resist.
via GIPHY
3. Jeepers Creepers
This unusual Halloween favorite combines comedy and horror to the viewers' delight. As two siblings road trip home, they find themselves in the midst of an organ eating monster. This film will have you singing "Jeepers creepers where'd you get those peepers..." for the next month.

2. Halloween
This creepy 1978 film will certainly put you in the Halloween spirit. Michael Myers, a deranged killer, has escaped from prison and is on a killing spree. This film combines horror and suspense perfectly and is sure to satisfy.

1. Hocus Pocus
This Halloween classic is of course at the top of my list. Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as the Sanderson Sisters... need I say anything else. This film is an absolute Halloween must!

10 Best Movie Couples
10. Hubbell and Katie
Barbra Streisand and Robert Redford are irresistible in The Way We Were. Katie and Hubbell are soul mates despite the fact that they have different political views. Politics rip them apart even though it pains the couple not to be together. This film provided us with one of the greatest Streisand songs ever and iconic moments to love forever. All though Katie and Hubbell know they can't be together they will always love each other.

9. Anna and William
Every man dreams of being with a movie star but that dream became a reality for William Thacker, a travel book store owner, when Anna Scott walked into his life one day. These two were destined for each other even with all of the obstacles of a Hollywood star in their way.
via GIPHY
8. Bridget and Mark
Bridget Jones is a singleton searching for love to complete her messy life. Bridget finds herself torn between her womanizer boss or the boy next door Mark. Even though Bridget and Mark are opposites , their love cannot be denied. This may not be the typical romance movie but Bridget and Mark provide a love story unlike any other. They are perfect just as they are.
via GIPHY
7. Molly and Sam
Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze are soulmates torn apart by death. When Sam is murdered in a mugging, he is determined to find his killer and protect Molly. The love Molly and Sam have for each other can't even be broken by death.
via GIPHY
6. Baby and Johnny
Sex, love, and dancing. Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze are electric in Dirty Dancing. When Baby's family goes on vacation in the Catskills she finds herself falling for the bad-boy dance instructor. These two can't keep away from each other even though they come from different worlds. Always remember: "Nobody puts baby in the corner."
via GIPHY
5. Rose and Jack
This is quite notably one of the most popular movie couples from my generation. Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet put on one of the most moving performances in Titanic. This tragic love story is one not to be forgotten.
via GIPHY
4. Noah and Allie
Oh how great it is to be young, dumb, and in love. Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams portray two young teenagers in love, ripped apart by class differences. The love between these characters is undeniable. These two are together until the end.

This dynamic duo of Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan has stared in four films together and their chemistry on screen is palpable. This film began the phenomenom of online dating. As Joe and Kathleen cross paths and become enemies they are ignorant to the fact that they love each other. This couple is a match made in heaven.

2. Sam and Annie
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan stole the hearts of America in the 1993 film Sleepless in Seattle. There was not a dry eye in the house when Sam reveals his pain following the death of his young wife, leaving behind himself and his son, Jonah. Annie and Sam meet on top of the Empire State Building on Valentine's Day. It was like coming home when they first touched.

Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan are perfectly matched in the 1989 classic When Harry Met Sally... As the relationship blossoms from hatred, to friendship, to love the audience finds themselves laughing and crying along with the characters. This love story is relatable on so many levels and creates the perfect movie couple.

My Love for TV and Movies
Hi all! Seeing as though this blog will be talking about television, films, and other things media and entertainment, I thought I'd let you know how my interest in this all began.
As a kid I would sit in front of the television for hours. My parents would limit the amount of tv I could watch because I was obsessed. I love watching everything and anything. Whether it be reality tv, sitcoms, dramas, you name it I'll watch it. My love for tv came first but movies weren't short after.
I don't really know what sparked my love for television and movies but I am hooked. I love the story, especially a love story. I can't help but fall in love with these stories as the characters fall in love with each other. I believe every movie has a love story somewhere. Look at superhero movies. You think you are watching a movie about a kid getting bit by a spider and turning into a villain-fighting badass but really it's a teenage boy searching for revenge for the murder of his uncle, whom he loved and along the way he falls for Mary Jane.
My love for television and movies will never die. I hope that by reading my blog you will find yourself falling in love with them too or if you are already obsessed I hope you enjoy my thoughts.
